The platform

LE GEEK RIDER is a motorcycle touring platform. We publish a catalog of self-guided trips you can purchase and download, a directory of guided motorcycle tours operated by third parties, public profiles of trip designers, and route-planning tools (including Google Maps import and GPX export for signed-in users).

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

Accounts

Some features require a free account (for example saving routes, importing from Google Maps, or managing purchases). You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.

Trip Studio — the tool used to create and sell self-guided trips — is available only to invited trip designers after admin activation. Operator Studio is available to approved tour operators.

Self-guided trip purchases

When you buy a self-guided trip, you receive a personal licence to download the trip package (routes, guides, and related files) for your own use. Prices, inclusions, and previews are shown on each trip page before checkout.

Checkout is processed by Stripe, our payment provider. After a successful payment we email a personal access link. You may check out with or without creating an account, as offered at checkout.

Trip content is created by independent trip designers. We curate listings but do not guarantee that every road, timing, or recommendation is suitable for your skills, motorcycle, or local conditions.

Digital content and refunds

Self-guided trips are digital content delivered immediately after purchase (download access). Where applicable law gives you a right of withdrawal for distance contracts, you acknowledge that delivery begins immediately and that you may lose the withdrawal right once download access is supplied, unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.

If you have a problem with a purchase (missing files, broken link, duplicate charge), contact us via the Contact form and choose the purchase topic. We will investigate and respond within a reasonable time.

Guided tours

Guided tour listings are provided by independent operators. We display information and link you to the operator’s own booking site. We are not the organiser, agent, or insurer for guided tours unless explicitly stated on a specific page.

Route planner and safety

Maps, routing, elevation, weather, and timings rely on third-party data and may be inaccurate or unavailable. You are solely responsible for safe riding, route choices, and compliance with traffic laws, border rules, and local regulations.

Always verify routes on the ground. Keep offline backups of navigation files you rely on.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, scrape or overload our systems, upload unlawful content, or infringe others’ intellectual property. We may suspend accounts or remove content that violates these terms or applicable law.

Intellectual property

Our brand, site design, and platform software remain our property or that of our licensors. Trip packages and designer content remain the property of their respective creators; your purchase grants the usage rights described on the trip page, not ownership of the underlying materials.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, The operator of the LE GEEK RIDER website and service is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of data on your device, personal injury, property damage, or reliance on routes, maps, or third-party listings.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer or other applicable law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms where permitted by law.
